FRENCH MARRIAGE LAW.
LONDON,. March 3. Compulsory medical examination before marriage, proposed by Senator Godart, will be discussed in the French Senate, writes the “ News-Chronicle ” Paris correspondent. This follows the recent modernisation of the marriage laws, lowering the minimum age at w’hich men and women may marry “without their parents’ consent from 25 to 21.
