PRESIDENT FAREWELLED.

The monthly meeting of the St Albans Baptist Women’s Missionary Union was held yesterday at the .residence of Mrs Liebert, Gosset Street, St Albans. After the meeting a social hour was enjoyed, when Mrs Liebert presented the president, Mrs A. S. Wilson, with a bouquet and a book. Mrs Wilson thanked those present, and urged them to carry on the work for the missionaries. The Rev Mr and Mrs Wilson are leaving for Auckland. Solos were given by Miss Liebert and Mrs Hatherley. Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs Liebert and Mrs Reed. Those present were: The Rev A. S. and Mrs Wilson, Mesdames Liebert; Reed, Hatherley, Lucas, Gilling, Hastie, Clark, Larcombe, Brierley, Ingold, Teb.ay, Twose, Skertin and Arthur, Misses Liebert, Fuller, Osborne and Larcombe.
