TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mrs F. Burns, The Bungalow, Wai-iti Road, is staying in Christchurch. Mrs C. H. Gresson, Selwyn Street, will return from Christchurch to-day. Mrs Arthur Nicholls, Kureheka, is the guest of Mrs W. If. Hargreaves, Kakahu. Miss Agatha Upham, Christchurch, will arrive to-morrow to be the guest of Mrs Herbert Elworthy, “Craigmore.” Miss Peggy Williams, “Silverton,” Woodbury, will leave to-day to be the guest of Miss Tripp, Orari Gorge. Miss Cushla Macassy, Dunedin, who was the guest of Mrs Timaru Rhodes, “Hadlow,” has returned home. Miss Sumpter, who was the guest of Mrs C. E. Graham, Campbell Street, has returned to Oamaru. Miss E. Bracken, Albury, has returned home after spending a holiday with Mrs E. P. Rich, Christchurch.
