A new' super tariff under which Australia is included as a country having no commercial treaty with Germany, but which has not yet been enforced, permits of the following increases in the duty on every 200 pounds weight. Wheat, five to thirty marks; frozen meat from forty-five to 110 marks; wool, not affected.

The Minister of Commerce emphasised that the super tariff was mereh' for discretionary use to meet other discriminatory tariffs.
