Hill Event Popular at Ashburton.

In spite of the unfavourable weather conditions yesterday, there was a gooci attendance of riders at the annual road hill climb held by the Ashburton .Motorcycle Club on the propei ty of Air Edgar Was ton, “Happy Valley,” Methven. Several members of the Mid-Canterbury Motor Club attended the run 'nut did not compete in any of the events. The fastest time for the day. was obtained by H. Sutton (Ariel), Imm o 1-oscc.
