JUMPED OVERBOARD.
Man Apparently Suffered from Delusions. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 7. Apparently suffering from delusions, one of the stewards in the third class jumped overboard during the voyage of the Makura from San Francisco to Wellington. A lifebuoy was thrown into the sea, a boat lowered and the ship put about. The man was aboard again in twenty minutes and was afterwards kept in the doctor’s care. Arrangements have been made for the man’s removal to hospital to-day.
