WRESTLER’S CLAIM.
Dispute Over Terms of . i Contract. (Special to th© “ Star.**) AUCKLAND, March 5. A decision in favour of defendant was given by Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court in a case in which Mahommad Ali Sunni, a professional wrestler, claimed £262 from his former manager, Bain, of Napier. Plaintiff alleged that Bain had agreed to pay all Sunni s expenses on a wrestling tour, relying entirely on si4e-bet-ting for personal pjofits. Defendant claimjjfl that the arrangement was for Sunni to receive 50 per cent of the net proceeds. “ The six years that have elapsed since the agreement was made account for the discrepancy in the evidence.” said the Magistrate, “ but I thick the defendant’s statement of the contract is more likely."
The case was adjourned sine die to enable the two parties to investigate the accounts on the basis set out i* defendant’s evidence.
