Gifford, the other high scorer, was still in at lunch, and looked like adding to his score considerably. Shand bowled very well for St. Andrew’s. T-Tc bowled fourteen overs having only 27 runs hit off him. Nicholls had howled twelve overs for 36 runs when Dougall replaced him. Tn hi* second over, Dougall broke the
