Over 400 cases were dealt with last week, and the heavy demands combined with the shortage of supplies made the work extremely difficult. Supplies this week were considerably augmented through the efforts of the East Linwood and Woolston Burgesses’ Association, which raised over £5 for the depot by means of a concert last Thursday in M’Donald Hall, and a recital by Derry’s Band on Sunday evening in Linwood Park. The depot officials report a great shortage of clothing of all kinds, and that gifts of food or jam would be most acceptable. $5 35 SS New Brighton Boy Scouts.
