TRAFFIC CASES.
Many Offenders are Dealt With To-day. Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., presided at a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court this morning. A number of traffic cases were dealt with. Voluntary Appearances. Herbert Radcliffe Black was fined £2 and costs for speeding. For failing to stop he was fined 20s and costs. His license was cancelled. Colin Arthur John M’Donald was convicted and fined 10s and costs for driving a motor-van at night without lights. Selwyn John Rc-binson, for failing to give way, was fined 20s and costs. Donald Chamberlain Haberfield, for negligent driving, was convicted and fined £4 arid costs. Donald Wares was convicted and fined 10s and costs for cycling at night without a light. For having no rear reflector he was convicted and discharged and for not having his rear mudguard painted white was fined 5s without costs. Miscellaneous Cases. Allan Brydon, for driving a motorcycle at night without a light, was convicted and fined 10s and costs. For having no driver’s license he was convicted and fined 5s without costs. Thomas Caldwell, for cycling at night without a light, was convicted and discharged. For cycling on the footpath he was convicted and fined 5s and costs. Cyril Kitchener Cockburn, for cycling without a light, was convicted and fined 5s and costs. Iris Miles, for a similar offence, was fined 5s without costs, and John Mullaly and Herbert Harris Stephens were- each fined 5s and costs for this offence. Harold Cole, for failing to keep to the left, was convicted and discharged. He was fined 10s and costs for passing a Lawrence Greenslade, for c3’cling on the footpath, was convicted and fined 5.s without costs. For a similar offence Muriel M Phee was fined 30s and costs and Frederick Weingott 5s and costs. William John Henden. for failing to give way, was convicted and fined 20s and costs. For a similar offence Phillip Henrv Stock was fined 20s and costs. David Marra was fined 5s and costs for having insufficient lighting on a motor-car. Harold Roland Milner, for driving a motor-car without the required lights, was fined 5s and costs.
