There is a slightly better tone in regard to Government 51 per cent bonds, but most lines are neglected, and the completed business is of small dimensions. This morning. Bank of New Zealand slipped another 3d with a sale at 42s 9d. An inquiry came in for Queensland Insurance at 4 os. and Auckland Gas wet* in request at 21s 9d. Huddart Parkers were on offer at 2 4s. and Farmers’ Trading (ord. shares) w ere again wanted at ss.
