VISITORS ENTERTAINED.
Tea Given by Bible Class Girls. . METHODIST DELEGATES. The officers of the Young Women’s Methodist Bible Class Union gave a delightful tea party in the kiosk in the Botanical Gardens last evening, at which the women delegates to the Methodist Conference, the wives of the visiting ministers, the executive officers of the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary and the executive officers of the newly formed missionary circle were entertained.
Mrs M. A. Rugby Pratt, wife of the president of the Conference, was presented with a bouquet of sweet peas and gladioli by' Miss D. Fairweather, president of the Bible Class Union.
Members of the executive of the Methodist Young -Women’s Bible Class Union present were:—Mrs O. Burnett, Misses D. Fairweather (president), I. Robinson. M. Thompson, D. Stevens, E. Burnett, T. Schumacher, E. Hugh son, D. Quigley, L. Hooker, R. Barrell, K. Dennis, D. Fairbairn and N. Trone.
The guests present were:—Mrs M. A. Rugby Pratt and Mrs G. Bowron (president of the Missionary Auxiliary), Miss Dora Sheat (Dominion travelling secretary of the Bible Class Union), Miss E.
