FIRMS’ MATCH.
The match between Hornby and Urlwin’s resulted in a win for Urlwin’s by six wickets. Urlwin’s in their first innings made 177, and in their second declared when they had 94 for the loss of four wickets. The best score was 37, made by Kent. Hornby in their first innings made 78 and in their second innings improved to put on 97 (Standren 37, Lennox 25). Bowling for Hornby, Wellsmore took six wickets.
