Will Remain Upon the Gold Standard. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 20, 11.30 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, January 19. The increase in the subsidy from lO to 25 per cent on wool and mohair exports, from 10 to 20 per cent on frozen meat, and from to 20 per cent on fruit and eggs is accepted as a final indication that the Government will adhere to the gold standard.
