Jewel Pointer’s Effort at Alexandra Park. (Special to the " Star.”) AUCKLAND, December 22. Jewel Pointer this morning put up a track record at Alexandra Park, pacing a mile and a half in 3min 16sec. The first half-mile took lmin 6sec, the second lmin 4sec and the third lmin . 6sec.
