Excitement was caused at Lyttelton 3’esterday afternoon when an elderly fisherman, a visitor from the city, fell into the harbour from No. 6 Jetty. A life-buoy was thrown to him immediately, snd ropes followed, but it was a quarter of an hour before the man could be pulled out.
