CONSTRUCTION WORK AT THE FALLS, ARAPUNI. —A view of the old waterfall, showing the 160 ft drop, now a solid convex concrete wall. The sides of the fails, where the scaffolding is erected, will also be lined with concrete. The foot of the drop, where a great hole was gouged out by the overflow water in its terrific rush to the buried forest, has also been filled with concrete.
