OBSCENE LANGUAGE CASE.

Messrs F. E. Sutton, J.P., and W. T. Lester, J.P., presided at a sitting of the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court this morning. Michael M’Guirk, charged with using obscene language, was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment without the option of a fine. On a further charge of being a prohibited person on licensed premises, he was ordered to appear before a magistrate on December 23.
