LEWISHAM FETE.
The sum of £923 9s 5d has been raised for the Lewisham Hospital by an energetic committee which has been at work during the past six weeks. The amounts raised by the various stalls at the fete held at the hospital grounds were:—Variety, £192 18s 9d; produce, £178; fancy, £152 0s sd; children’s, £llß 8s 2d; refreshment, £IOB 3s 7d; cakes and sweets, £Bl 14s 9d mock court, £4 15s; donations, £lO4 3s; and gate money, £24 3s. Expenses were £4O 17s 3d, leaving a balance of £923 9s sd. A guessing competition on the amount realised was won by Dr W. M. Cotter,
