NEW AUSTRALIAN STATION. Opening on Wednesday Next. According to private advice from Australia received by Mr A. D. Ford, Riccarton, a new wireless broadcasting station called 2CO will be on the air for the opening night event on Wednesday next. This station is of exceptional power and it is claimed to be the most powerful in Australia. It is situated between Sydney and Melbourne and will be used by some of the present stations for relay work. It should be heard here with great volume. This station must not be confused with a small station which is coming on the air under the call of 2CH.
