LYTTELTON NEWS.
Anniversary Services at Holy Trinity Church. Eighty-first anniversary services were conducted at Holy Trinity Church, Lyttelton, yesterday, to commemorate the founding of the church by the Canterbury pioneers. Large congregations attended both the morning and evening services, which were conducted by the vicar, the Rev C. A. Purchas. Y.W.C.A. Girls’ Concert. An attractive concert has been arranged by members of the Lyttelton Young Women’s Christian Association girls in aid of the general funds of the local branch. The programme will include singing, folk-dancing, elocutionary items and physical culture displays.
