Two late sales from Saturday and one recorded in the room comprised the total actual business, and buyers kept rigidly down to last week’s limits. An exception was provided in some Australian securities. For British Tobaccos 26s 6d was offered, for Australian Glass 28.*? 9d, and for Colonial Sugar £3B. The bank section was quiet, but most values were maintained. In Government Stocks a bid of £96 5s for tax frees brought an offer to sell a parcel of Inscribed at £96 10s. For 5i per cent (1937), £99 15s was available, with holders asking £IOO 10s. OKAEITO RETURN. Per Press Association DUNEDIN, December 14. The return from the Okarito dredge is 960 z 9dwt for 128 hours.
