EARTHQUAKE RECORDED.
A slight earthquake was recorded at the Christchurch Meteorological Observatory about 9.48 last night. The ’quake was felt in Greymouth and it is likely that the origin lay to the north of that town. The tremor lasted for two or three minutes. (A Greymouth message appears on Page 1.)
