Roberts, Secretary of the Alliance of Labour, strongly opposed any cut in wages of workers, while Labour Party Leaders opposed the reduction in the House and from the public platform.' After the Court’s decision was announced, these professed friends of the worker imposed a Cut of 10% and more in Certain cases, upon the employees of the ** N.Z. Worker”, the Official organ of the Labour Party, and also increased their by a half-day per week. To avoid responsibility for this political somersault, rhl« barefaced insincerity, the leaders of the Labour Party put out a further snnokescreen. They 6ay they ate not responsible.
