The Governor, Sir Philip Game, today received a petition presented under the auspices of the New Guard asking him to dissolve the Legislative Assembly. The grounds of the petition are that the people of New South Wales were very apprehensive because of continued disloyal acts and utterances, and because the Premier and -the Ministers no longed retained the confidence of the people.
