NIAGARA, from Sydney via Auckland is due at Vancouver on November 8. She leaves on the return trip on November 11. „ SIERRA sailed from San Francisco on October 14 for Sydney. Due at Auckland on November 4. VENTURA left Sydney on Tuesday for San Francisco, via Auckland, Suva, Pago Pago and Honolulu. Due at Auckland on Saturday. SONOMA leaves San Francisco on November 5 for Sydney, via Auckland. ISLANDS SERVICES. TOFUA to leave Auckland November 2 for the Islands. MORINDA, which left Sydney on October 8 for Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island and Auckland, arrived at Auckland on Monday. HIKURANGI leaves Auckland on October 30 for Norfolk Island. MAUI POMARE, from Apia and Niue Island, is due at Lyttelton on November 11. The vessel will go on the patent slip on her arrival at Wellington for cleaning and painting. COASTAL SHIPPING. BREEZE is due at Lyttelton to-mor-row from Timaru to load for Wellington and Wanganui. JOHN loaded at Lyttelton yesterday for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. She leaves for the north toWAIKATO should arrive at Lyttelton on Saturday from the south to load for Tauranga, Whangarei and Dargaville. . STORM, from Wanganui, via Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton to-day to load for Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaxu. She should return about Tuesday to load for the north. OPIHI loads at Lyttelton on November 5 for Nelson and New Plymouth. WAIPAHI arrived at Lyttelton to-day from Dunedin, via Oamaru and Timaru, will load for Napier and Gisborne. TEES, from Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru, is due at Lyttelton on Saturday to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. WAIMARINO loaded at Lyttelton yesterday, and sailed last evening for Picton, Wellington and Auckland. WAIPIATA, on discharging at Lyttelton yesterday, sailed for Timaru, thence Dunedin and Port Chalmers. At the latter port she will lie up for her annual survey and overhaul.

HOLMDALE was dispatched from Wellington last evening for Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton. She is due at Lyttelton on November 3. KUKU is expected to leave Lyttelton this evening for Wellington. On returning here on Saturday she will load for Nelson, Motueka and Wellington. FOXTON, from Foxton, arrived at Lyttelton to-day to load for that port. The vessel is expected*to leave for the north this evening. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. IvAPONGA loads at Adelaide, and is to complete at Melbourne for Auckland and Wellington. She is to leave Melbourne on November 2. WAINUI was an arrived at Lyttelton this forenoon from Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin. She is expected to make her departure for Wellington this evening. KALINGO loads at Greymouth to-day for Sydney and Newcastle. WAIOTAPU is due at Auckland on November 10 from Los Angeles. She will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. WAIKOUAITI, due here on November 11 from Newcastle, Port Stephens, Sydney, Bluff and Dunedin, will complete unloading at Timaru. OVERSEA VESSELS. TAMAROA is expected here to-mor-row morning from Timaru to load for London. The vessel is timed to leave on Saturday. COPTIC arrived at Bluff yesterday ’ forenoon from London in ballast. Port Chalmers, Wellington, New Plymouth, Auckland, Gisborne and Napier will be her other loading ports. She is scheduled to leave Napier on November 24 for London, via Cape Horn. PORT HUNTER is due at Wanganui to-morrow to continue her loading. Her other loading ports are New Plymouth, Auckland, Gisborne and Wellington. To leave Wellington on November 18 for London, via Panama. RANGITIKI is expected to leave Wellington to-day for Auckland. She will make her departure from Auckland on November 7 for Southampton and LonZEALANDIC will leave Auckland on November 3 for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom, via Cape Horn. PORT FAIRY LEAVES SUVA. En route from London, the Port Fairy left Suva yesterday morning for New Zealand. She is due at Dunedin on Monday morning. CANADIAN CHALLENGER LEAVES MONTREAL. CANADIAN CHALLENGER, which left Montreal on Saturday for New Zealand, is coming via Gulf of Mexico ports. She is due at Auckland on December 12. She is returning from New Zealand direct to Halifax. WINTON FROM NEW YORK. WINTON, with New York cargo, has finished called at Gulf of Mexico ports, and left Galveston on October 22 for New Zealand. She is due at Auckland on November 26. CANADIAN CONQUEROR. CANADIAN CONQUEROR, which left Dunedin on October 19 for New York, Boston and Halifax, via Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, arrived at Melbourne on Saturday. PORT ALMA EARLY DESPATCH TOMORROW. PORT ALMA is finishing her loading at Auckland sooner than was expected, and she will leave at noon to-morrow for London, via Cape Horn, instead of on Saturday, as was previously arranged. CORINTHIC REPORTS. CORINTHIC, which left Wellington on October 21 for Southampton and London, via Panama, has reported by wireless that since leaving port fresh northeasterly winds and moderate seas have been experienced. All are well on boardDUTCH LINER TO VISIT AUCKLAND. Advice has been received that the Dutch liner Volendam, which is to make a cruise of the Antarctic early in the New Year, will visit Auckland early in January on her' way south. The Volendam, which is a 16',000-ton steamer of the Holland-America Line, will be the first passenger vessel to sail to the Antarctic, and will he under the command of Commander J. R. Stenhouse, who was master of the Aurora during Sir Ernest Shaekleton’s trans-Antarctic expedition, and of the British research ship Discovery 11. Commander Stenhouse wili be assisted by Commander F. A. Worsley, captain of the Endurance and Quest during Shackleton's expeditions. The vessel’s itinerary comprises Havana. Panama, Galapagos Islands, Marquesas Islands, Tahiti, Rarotonga, Auckland, Bounty Island, Antipodes Island, Scott Island, the Ross Sea, Macquarie Island, Hobart, Sydney, Port Moresby, Bali, Java, Sumatra, Colombo, Bombay, Suez, Catania, Messina and Gibraltar. She will leave New York on December 15. OTAIR’S RECORD PASSAGE. The New Zealand Shipping Company have been advised that their new motorship Otaio arrived at Dunkirk on October 19, after a record passage of thirty days from Port Adelaide. The Otaio, which was dispatched from Sydney on September 8, Geelong on October 10, Melbourne on October 12, and Adelaide on October 19, has a big cargo of wool for the United Kingdom and the Continent, besides big lines of general and refrigerated cargo. The Otaio, which was specially built for the New Zealand Shipping Company, was the first of her type to be placed in the Australian trade, and the facilities provided for the transport of frozen and chilled produce are of the most modern type. The previous record was made by the Norwegian motor-ship Triton, which left Adelaide on March 31 last and made the passage to Dunkirk in just under thirtytwo days. . The new motor-ship Orari, a sister ship to the Otaio, is to serve the Sydney wool sales of last week and this week. Like the OOtaio, she is a very speedy vessel, and may make better time.
