“ Tubby ” Holden, former Otago and South- Island half, is evidently still capable of playing a good game for his side. Playing several weeks ago for the Edendale-Wyndham team, he put up the remarkable performance of scoring all his side’s 16 points, which comprised two tries, one goal after a try, and two potted goals. The game was also remarkable for the fact that the opposing side, Albion, put on all of its 11 points in almost as many minutes right at the end of the match. The Mataura “ Ensign,” in recording the match, states that Holden played a, brilliant game. _
