MUSIC DIRECTOR RETIRES.
No Successor to Take up Schools Work. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 20. No successor will be appointed to Mr E. Douglas Tayler, Director of School Music, who retires in August to go to California. The Director of Education, Mr T. B. Strong, said that the departure of Mr 'avler would be regretted. His worJr for school music had been invaluable.
