HINTS FOR IRONERS.

If you have a lot of ironing to do, remember that to avoid unnecessary fatigue the greatest care must be taken to do the work in comfort. A point that is often forgotten is to wear clothes that are comfortable and do not hamper movement, and above all to wear shoes that are comfortable even when one’s feet are tired with long standing. It is a good idea to put a thick rug on the floor to stand on. Another very important point is that the table or ironing board should be the right height, neither too high nor too low. This really makes an enormous difference to the ease of ironing.
