WINTER SHOW.

Big Exhibition to Conclude on Saturday. The last three days of the Winter Show and Exhibition are being entered upon and 10 p.m. on Saturday next will see the end of a very successful season. There is, of course, a large number ot people who will be going for the Jjt time during these three remaining Wajs and very many others who have already been there will be going again, so that It is certain good attendances will be maintained until the end. This 1 ® a should be, for the enterprise of the promoters has provided the best exhibition of this nature that has been held in Christchurch. The splendid support by the public to date has given encouragement for the introduction of new attractions and the closing days will provide more general interest and entertainment than did the opening days. One of the most gratifying features has been tne constant public interest displayed in tne working exhibits, where many articles in daily use in everyJiouseho d can be seen in the making. The quality of the materials and the high standards attained in the manufacture of the finished goods have created greater confidence in the value of commodities made in the Dominion and provide convincing evidence of the economy of purchasing them in preference to goods which do not give work to our own operatives. Intending visitors should not miss closely observing these excellent demonstrations. The entertainments are of a most enjoyable nature, too, and have been highly appreciated by everyone, as also have been the splendidly patronised amusements to be found in the side-shows. A novel exhibit to-night at 7.15 will be the shearing of the beautiful Angora rabbits on the bandstand, in full view of the audience, and also an interesting competition, which is detailed in the advertisements, will attract the attention of all who wish to win a guinea.
