BARKER. —On August 18, 1931, at her residence, 56, Westenra Street, Avonside, Emily (Mary), beloved wife of John William Barker; aged fifty-six years. BRAZIER. —On August 16, 1931, at Christchurch Hospital, Mary Isabella, widow of Herbert Owen Brazier, and beloved daughter of Thomas James Townsend, of Bath; in her fiftieth year. Sadly missed by her sons and daughters. DAVIE. —On August ID, 1931, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs F. H. Hobson, 198, Rolleston Street, Binwood, Christchurch, Eliza Ellen, dearly beloved wife of Andrew Davie. A patient sufferer at rest. SBEENSLADE. —On August 19, 1931, at Christchurch, Rev William Greejislade, dearly loved husband of Elizabeth Agnes Greenslade, 536, Hagley Avenue, Christchurch; aged fifty-five GREENWOOD. —On August 19, at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr T. J. Carter, Naumai, Southbridge, Clara Susanna, widow of the late Arthur Greenwood; in her seventy-seventh year.
