GRAF ZEPPELIN LANDS.
British Experts Taken on Tour of Isles. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, August 18. The German airship, Graf Zeppelin/ commanded by Dr Hugo Eckener, flew to England from Freidrichshaven today. The. airship crossed the Channel late in the afternoon and, after visiting several south coast resorts, headed for London, over which it cruised for nearly an hour before landing at Hanworth, to disembark passengers. A party of more than twenty English experts and people interested, including the Master of Sempill, president of the Aero Club, and Colonel Shelmerdine, Director of Civil Aviation, then boarded the airship for a cruise of twenty-four hours round the British Isles. SCOTTISH FLIGHT CUT OUT. (Received August 20, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 19. Bad weather obliged the Graf Zeppelin to return direct to Newcastle from ■ Belfast, cutting out the Scottish flight. ■
