United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 17, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, August 15. The battleship Emperor of India, which was mistakenly sunk by gunfire in the Channel while being med for target practice, has been refloated. Heavy gales stripped off the steel patches and negatived earlier attempts at salvage.
