MAINTENANCE CASES.
Varied Claims Dealt With by Magistrate. For disobedience of maintenance orders, the following were dealt with to-day by Mr H. P. Lawry, 'S.M.:— Ronald Bertram Moher was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, the issue of the warrant to be suspended provided arrears are paid off at the rate of 2s 6d a week, in addition to current maintenance. Thomas James Wright was sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment, the of the warrant to be suspended provided arrears are paid off at the rate of s:i a week, in addition to the amount of the current order. John Davidson Millar and Falconer George Scott were each sentenced to one month’s imprisonment. In the case of Millar, the warrant was suspended for seven days. William Cashmere was ordered to pay 15s a week towards the maintenance of his wife.
