A MAGNIFICENT DISPLAY AT THE WINTER SHOW. The Manufacturers of Canterbury Locknit, Messrs Lane, Walker and Rudkin, have, with the above display, captured the attention of every visitor to the W r inter Show. At a casual glance the average passer-by does not realise just what a large range of garments are shown in this exhibit. On closer inspection it dawns upon the observer that here are displayed wearing apparel to meet the needs of everybody from the most humble worker to the most extremely fastidious woman who will have nothing but the finest quality and style obtainable for her lingerie. With the exception of perhaps one stand (the North Canterbury Producers* no other exhibitors at the Winter Show have such a wide range of products. Certainly no other manufacturers of woollens, worsteds and underclothing can compare with the comprehensive display by Lane, Walker and Rudkin, Ltd., for products that are such a credit to New Zealand Manufacturers. One working Exhibit at this stand show's the manufacture of the “softest fabric in the world”— a super Egyptian cotton Interlock material for underwear of all kinds; while another working exhibit on the same stand shows the famous “ Pacific ” bathing suits being made.
