Secret Quarrel Between Film Magnates.

There has been a sub-secret quarrel going on in Hollywood for a long time past between Howard Hughes and Sam Goldwyn. Recently it was announced as having come to an end, which is, of course, a proof that it has reached really formidable dimensions, saysthe “ Era.” Hughes has now offered to buy Doug’as Fairbanks and Mary Pickford out of United Artists, undoubtedly as a part of his struggle with Goldwyn for control. Sam and Howard are locally known as Hell’s Angels.
