With the help of the heads of departments, typists and other free labour, the newspaper “ West Australian ** produced an eight-page issue to-day. The afternoon paper, the “ Daily News,** is managing to produce a paper in a similar fashion. Strikers are picketing both offices. The “ West Australian ” has received three hundred applications from skilled operators and others offering their services.
