WINTER SHOW.
Children Enjoy Visits to Exhibition. It is good that the joyous nature of the juveniles should be able to find expression at such admirable amusements and entertainments as are provided by the side-shows and programmes at the Winter Show and Exhibition. It is sheer delight for the elder ones to watch the wonderment of the younger ones on such occasions as this, and this year there is much more reason for the enthusiasm shown by the growing generation than ever before. It is not anticipated that the children will display quite so much interest in the trade exhibits as in the entertainments, but parents who have the future in mind will know the great value of directing the young minds to the necessity of seeing for themselves the numerous working Xj.emQngtrations showing the processes in the manufacture of New Zealand made goods and understanding something of the wisdom of preferring to purchase them for the true economy they represent in the value they give and also in the manner in which these purchases hell? to provide their own kith and kin with the means of a livelihood. Nor w-ill parents overlook the excellent
‘‘Story of Wool “ that is told in song, dance and film in the N.C.O. Club Room, and the exhibit of beautiful Angora utility rabbits and all the handsome apparel made from their wool and pelts which can be seen in the shed section adjoining in main building.
