'J'HE RECORD ATTENDANCES at dances this season are more than an indication of the

resiliency of youthful spirits; it is a very definite sign of better times ahead. For y'oung New Zealanders to-day are not so callous or so careless as age sometimes appears to think. The fact is that they have tackled their problems, and while they are working harder they are
