An inter-club match played at Richmond Hill yesterday between the Richmond Hill and the Kaiapoi Clubs, resulted in a win for the home side. In the course of the match a Kaiapoi player, Mrs Hammer, holed her tee-shot at the eighth hole. “ The Chasm.’’ The feat was all the more interesting in that this hole is the only one on the course where it is possible to follow the flight of the ball from the tee right into the hole. Mrs Hammer was warmly congratulated on her performance. The result of the first and second rounds of the club championships are as follows:
