CASHIER MURDERED.

Burglars’ Lightning Raid on Glasgow Bank. LONDON, August 13. Robert Donald, aged twenty-four, cashier of the Radnor Park branch of the Clydesdale Bank, Glasgow, was found on the bank’s premises with his head battered in.- The sum of £2OOO had been stolen. Donald was in sole charge of the bank. The shocking injuries to his head were due to a jemmy or hammer. He died five minutes after being found. The police have no clue, but believe that there was more than one assailant in the lightning raid on the bank, which was made just as the branch closed.
