CHEAP TRAIN TRIPS.
Of special interest to parents, teachers, and scholars is the Railway Department’s announcement in this isstie that cheap tickets will be issued from August 20 to August 29 inclusive in connection with the spring school holidays. The tickets are available for return until September 26, and can be purchased from Railway offices at any time prior to travel date. Attention is also drawn to the fact that a family travelling together requires to pay only the price of three adult fares for father and mother and any number of their children under sixteen years of age. These tickets are known as “ Family Tickets ” and their popularity is apparent by the increased sales recorded in recent months.
