OIL AT MOTUROA.

One, Hundred barrels Obtained. SATISFACTORY REPORT. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH. August 14. When the Moturoa Oilfields No. 2 well was opened to-day the bailer was lowered and found oil within fifty feet of the surface. The well began to flow and 100 barrels of oil were obtained in two hours, seventy-five barrels being collected in the main tank. The condition of the well is considered to be very satisfactory.
