Bright Prospects for Final Day of Meeting.
TO-MORROW’S FIELDS. The Canterbury Jockey Club's Grand , National meeting will be concluded at Riccarton to-morrow. The fields will again be large, and there are prospects ! of some first-class racing for a wind-up to the winter carnival. There is a very strong field for the Selwyn Handicap, the concluding event of the meeting. Among them are some horses who have not previously raced. Charmeuse and Great Star look a likely pair.
