Rebels Capture Town and Kill Thirty Inhabitants. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. TAVANA, August 11. The whole of Cuba is under martial law. , Reports of increased rebel activities have reached here in spite of the strictest censorship. Advices from the Santa Clara Province said that 300 rebels invaded Santa Clara, where they killed thirty and imprisoned twentyfive They retired before arrival of army reinforcements. Several other towns in the interior were reported to be under rebel control after sanguinary skirmishing.
