Big Carry-over Estimated in United States. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 13, 10.5 a.m.) WASHINGTON, August 12. The Department of Agriculture, in a preliminary estimate issued to-day, placed the carry-over of domestic wheat supplies on July 1, at 319,059,000 bushels. A message from Ottawa states.that the Dominion Bureau of Statistics crop report estimates the average yield per acre of spring wheat at 54 bushels. This is based on conditions at July 31. At the same time last year the estimate was 86 bushels.
