THE WINTER SHOW

Visited by Many Children at To-day’s Sessions. A further batch of 1700 school children visited the Winter Show to-day. They spent a happy time inspecting the exhibits, collecting samples and spending pocket money in Chocolate Alley. A short address was given by the organiser (Mr E. H. Marriner), and children were asked to write an essay on impressions of the show. The programme to-day is as follows : 3 p.m.—Croft’s Punch and Judy. 3.30 p.m.—Buckett’s pupils. 7.30 p.m.—Municipal Band. 5.30 p.m.—Miss Waugh’s dancing pupils.
