HOW A REFLECTION WAS ELIMINATED.
First it was flies buzzing in the microphone that ruined talkies. Then it was bees. Then arc lights given to sizzling: motor-cars and aeroplanes. And now . . . Well, a scene for Robert Woolsey’s latest picture, Everything Rosy,” was considerably delayed becouse a glare from one of the overhead lights was found to be reflected in the camera. Frantic electricians and cameramen sought to discover what was causing the reflection. For a time they were baffled. Then the trouble was traced—jthe reflection was coming from the shining bald head of one of the extras. Whereupon the offending dome was smeared with puttv and “ Everything Rosy ” proceeded. Mary and Doug. Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks have been invited to appear on the London stage this month in a reVue. On Tour. C harles Rogers is at present making a personal tour of New York, Brooklyn and Chicago.
