FASHION INTRODUCES SPRING FABRICS Fashion, as is her wont, has provided a delightful range in weaves and colour schemes for Spring Fashion, particularly outstanding Fabrics are worthy of special mention. Plaids will occupy a prominent place in Spring Fashion, particnlarly for Skirts. Black/White, Brown/Beige, Black/Green/ W ine, Black/Gre y/R ed, Orange/Brown and Navy/ Lemon are included in the attractive selection. Wool Tartans are also much in vogue, both at Home and on the Continent. For Dresses and Ensembles, Silk and Wool Marocains are maintaining deserved popularity. Here also the smart flecked weaves, Black/White, Nigger/White, Wine/Silver and Bottle/Silver offer full scope for individual choice, these being further supplemented with Tweed effects in Bottle/ Beige, Brow n/Parchment, Navy/White, Black/White, also new small checks in Navy, Brown, Wine and Black. Printed Shantungs will be much in evidence, in floral designs and coin spots. Marocains showing combined spots and floral designs are also in demand; while in the lighter fabrics, Georgettes and Mousselines, bolder designs have been introduced. For sports wear.
