Orr-Walker, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day-* to Brian Ilarry Doyle, whom he ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within nine months on a charge of breaking the terms of s probation Sergeant Hodgson stated that as a result -of charges of wilful damage and fighting laid against Doyle on May 11, the accused had been placed on probation lor twelve months, .special conditions being that he refrained from taking intoxicating liquor and did not enter hotels. He was then fined £3 and ordered to pay- medical expenses, etc., amounting to £i 10s 3d. Sincfe’then’. Doyle had b&en drinking irfequ6ntly and had not paid the expenses. He waa all right when sober, but was verytroublesome when in drink. Doyle took out a prohibition order.
